This movie begins exactly when the first one ended: King Simba and Queen Nala  have a daughter named Kiara who is presented by Rafiki to a gathering of animals below when Kiara is older she runs off into the Prhd Lands to play but strays from the path marked  for her by Simba  Kiara meets Kovu after she wonders away from the Pride Lands  She falls in love with Kovu who happens to be raised by the Outlanders a group of lionesses who were Ithough he is actually not hisa (former flowers of Scar and the lion chosen to be the hier of the deceased villain son) Zira Kovus adopted mother and Scars widow is desperate to avenge Scars death and so she trains Kovu to be a killer.
