10000 years ago aliens from planet Kyanbell planning on attacking earth. And now the plan initiated. However Professor Nanbara discover this plan. The professor contact 5 youngsters to prevent the alien's takeover. Then he form a group called the Battle Team These 5 youngsters become pilots of the Battle Machine that when combined they become Chodenji Robo Combattler V. Professor Nanbara in his effort to protect earth from the Kyanbells get help from Professor Yotsuya, the leader of the Battle Team.
