Having lost his wife eleven years ago, Adnan devoted all his attention to his daughter Nihal and his son Bülent. تدور الأحداث حول الفتاة "سمر" التي تعيش في أسرة فقيرة، ويتقدم عدنان الرجل الغني في الخمسينيات من عمره للزواج بها، فتوافق رغم فارق السن، هربا من الفقر والعيش مع والدتها.
ويؤدي "كيفانش" دور شاب مراهق له علاقات نسائية متعددة، يعود من فرنسا ليعيش مع عمه عدنان، فتنشأ قصة حب بينه وبين "سمر" تصل إلى العشق والخيانة، ويحاول الانتهاء من هذه العلاقة بالزواج بابنة عمه نهال التي تحبه بكل طهارة.
